Evergreen Arboretum & Gardens


If you want to experience nature in a different way, the Evergreen Arboretum & Gardens is for you. Located at 145 Alverson Blvd, Everett, WA 98201. Situated in North Everett’s American Legion Memorial Park, the 3.5 acre arboretum and garden is a perfect place to spend the day. The grounds are well-kept and maintained by volunteers and offer an excellent opportunity to experience the beauty of Washington.

This botanical garden has several themed gardens and sculpture-lined paths. It also organizes educational programs and tours. The Hibulb Cultural Center & Natural History Preserve educates visitors about the Tulalip Tribe, descendants of a group of Native American tribes that signed the Treaty of Point Elliott in 1857. The museum includes a large replica of an 18th century longhouse and a display of canoes from different times in history.

The Tulalip Cultural Center covers 50 acres, and exhibits focus on the history, culture, and spiritual roots of the Tulalip tribe. Visitors are asked not to bring pets into the shopping area, which is full of local produce and arts. Visitors should also check out the Farmers Market, held weekly at Wetmore Avenue and Hewitt Avenue from 11am to 3pm. The market features local crafts and food produced by area vendors.
